The sophistication of DSLRs and Mirrorless cameras have transformed the medium of photography. Possessing extensive dynamic range and extraordinary low light capabilities, these cameras seem to provide “can’t miss” capabilities.
What if you want more control? Would you like to have more knowledge and understanding of your camera’s capabilities? This is the workshop for you.
Working in the studio with both professional strobes and continuous lighting can open up a broader understanding of the power of your camera.
Lightroom allows for Tethered Capture, that is the direct connection between your camera and editing program. This allows us to preview and record all of your lighting changes so you can understand the nuances of a professional lighting setup.
You will learn how to set up your Key Light, Fill Light, background lights, accent lights, all visible on screen as we build the image.
Working with both still life and models you will learn how to build an image and transform it with lighting.
Disciplines acquired in the studio will translate to all of your shooting, as you will now see light in a very different way. Take control of the power of your camera technology and bring your photography to a new level.
