I was a soldier – Lecture with Jerry Tovo

Jerry Tovo has been a commercial photographer and artist in the St. Louis area since the early 1970’s for clients ranging from major retailers such as Nordstrom’s and Bloomingdale’s, to national corporations, including Anheuser-Busch, Ralston-Purina, and Monsanto. He has created images for advertising campaigns, catalogs and other print media. As a representative for Kodak Professional he worked with professional photographers across the country. As a fine artist, Tovo has developed a unique artistic style incorporating the long tone imagery of the photographic masters with the technology of digital photography to produce evocative, starkly-beautiful and visually-arresting portraiture.
