Join Susan as she shares her new book breathtaking along with her signature practices for quieting the mind, turning inward and reconnecting with your authentic voice. Writers and artists of all levels are welcome for this transformative full-day salon which will feature readings, writing prompts and targeted practices designed to draw out your true verse. Susan Currie is a West Palm Beach based photographer and poet. She also serves as Associate Editor at LA YOGA MAGAZINE. In addition to curating peace of mind and well being content for this publication, her words and images have been exhibited at the Yawkey Cancer Center at MA General Hospital in Boston, the Photoplace Gallery in Middlebury, Vermont, the Touch Gallery in Cambridge, Massachusetts and also featured in The Boston Globe, We Are Travel Girls, Still Point Arts Quarterly, the Huffington Post, Artists Magazine, the Tishman Review, Temenos Literary Journal and in assorted other publications. Susan serves as a Corporator for the Griffin Museum of Photography in Winchester, Massachusetts.
Susan is the author of Once Divided (Shanti Arts, 2016) a blend of visual and verse – the perfect companion for yoga, a cup of tea or an afternoon on the back porch. GRACENOTES, its follow-up, was released in 2018. Her new series of work, entitled breath taking is now available in wide release.Through the creative workshops she leads throughout the country, Susan shares her signature approach to slow shooting and incorporating mindfulness into the artistic practice.
