Introduction to Photographic Editing This insightful class will teach everyone how to manage their photographs once the photographic process is done. We will cover the taking of your media cards out of the camera to plugging them into your computer and downloading the information. Followed by saving and labeling your photographs in an organized fashion. All steps will be covered that are necessary to make a library where you can recall your images to use and see time and time again. The important step of creating a library of your images starts with purchasing an external hard drive, which is essential for keeping your computer in good working order when adding the large amount of files you will be making to hold your images. Setting up your filing system is absolutely essential to a good work flow and recalling photographs taken in the past. All students are asked to have a portable, external Hard Drive with cables and a few images to work on the day of the class. Once the class understands their filing system, we will follow up with what programs to use to turn your RAW files into usable TIFF files and JPEG files to send emails from, and edit further to create the perfect print.
