Fine Art Digital Printmaking with Lightroom With Jean Miele March 6 - 9, 2023 You want your prints to look like what you've been seeing on your monitor. Right now! This hands- on workshop will focus on a step-by-step workflow for color and black-and-white inkjet printing with Lightroom and Epson printers, and teach you to how to get consistent, predictable, repeatable results. Equally important, you’ll learn to use Lightroom’s super-powerful RAW processing capabilities (particularly local adjustments) to transform your RAW files into photographs that “sing.” This 4-day in-person workshop integrates plenty of Lightroom time in the digital lab, and offers the encouraging environment, expert instruction, and individual attention you need to take your printing to the next level. We may even sneak in a little shooting around beautiful West Palm Beach, just for fun. Join us and learn everything you need to know to take the guesswork out of making exhibition-quality inkjet prints. Workshop Requirements: This In-Person workshop is not for beginners. Participants should be comfortable with Macintosh computers and Lightroom. Please arrive for class with all of your working tools ready to go: cameras, lots of your own (well-organized) RAW files to work on, as well as Mac-formatted hard drives/jump drives with adequate storage space to bring your work home. I needed to rejuvenate my spirit and reenergize my photography after losing my parents in 2020, a good old fashion road trip was in order. I would bring state-of-the-art Mirrorless cameras, and revisit some places I had been photographing since the 90s. Also, I’d explore new places I had always wanted to see.
