In Person – Camera RAW Shoot & Process with George Schaub
In this two-day workshop you will learn the benefits of recording images in RAW with hands-on experience in the field and in the lab. Day 1 includes a full morning field trip to photograph both natural and architectural subjects. As we work, we will discuss metering techniques, aperture, ISO settings and individual point of view, as well as concentrate on various lighting conditions. Later that afternoon we return to the computer lab to edit and download images for the Sunday processing session. Processing will cover the gamut of RAW tools, from tonal to color to saturation and even “geometry” controls that all allow for a complete “personalization” of the final image, plus how to apply final touches in Photoshop to prepare the image for printing. Attendees will come away with both an appreciation of the power and benefits of RAW as well as a working and practical knowledge of its tool and techniques. Handouts and “cheat sheets” will be provided. What to bring: Aside from camera and lenses, flash, etc. bring a memory stick or card that will serve as storage for your selected images from the day’s shoot. Level: Beginner to Intermediate Refunds and Cancellations For workshops at the Centre, all deposits will be refunded IN FULL if a workshop is canceled. If you decide to withdraw from
