Tools of the Trade Description Photoshop Basics will cover many of the different tools and techniques used to enhance your images in Adobe Photoshop. In this class, you will learn the basics of how to use color correcting tools, retouching tools, selection/resizing tools, and more. We will also discuss the many uses and applications of Adobe Photoshop. This class is perfect for someone who is looking for basic post-processing skills (color correction, skin retouching, cropping, removing small imperfections, etc.) Having a basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop is a plus but it not necessary. However, a basic knowledge of computer functions, such as the use of menus, windows, dragging, left and right clicking, is required. Biography LAURENCE GARTEL is considered the "Father" of the Digital Art medium for over 34-years. He has been exhibited at the Museum of Modern Art, Long Beach Museum of Art, Princeton Art Museum, Norton Museum of Art, and in the permanent collections of the Smithsonian Institution's Museum of American History, Bibliotheque Nationale, and most recently the Victoria and Albert (V&A) Museum in London. Gartel is also the subject of two monographs: Laurence M. Gartel: A Cybernetic Romance" Introduction written by Nam June Paik, and "GARTEL: Arte e Tecnologia".
