A two-day workshop like no other.

If you’ve already taken Intro to DSLR and Photo 101 or the equivalent, then you’re ready for this amazing series.

Under the careful guidance of photographer Shane Srogi, test your skills and try new techniques at this environmental treasure! See Florida’s natural beauty through the lens of a camera. Snag a photograph of nature in action!

Day One:

You’ll meet at the Centre for a brief morning introduction. You’ll review your photography in a critique setting. Feel free to discuss issues you’re encountering, effects you’re having trouble mastering, hear ideas for techniques, tips, and concepts that you may have not yet explored. Be sure to bring with you photographs you have already taken! Shane will review techniques that might be helpful for the upcoming location shoot, and then you’ll be off! You’ll head out and meet up on location.

Day two:

You will meet once again at the Centre for the unique opportunity to have a secondary review. Here you will have the opportunity to go over the process of selecting a strong image, comparing your work from the previous day’s shoot with your past photography, and see how you’re growing as a photographer.

This is a great way to engage with other photographers, learn, and grow—while having fun!

Workshop price does not include entry fee. 

Per CDC guidance and following the City of West Palm Beach policy, the Palm Beach Photographic Centre requires facial coverings and 6-foot social distancing while indoors on Centre property. This is applicable to those who are vaccinated and unvaccinated. If you or someone in your household are feeling sick, feverish, have a cough, have been exposed to COVID-19, or have been required to self-quarantine, we ask that you not visit the Centre. Our goal is to keep our staff, instructors, and customers as safe as possible. We appreciate your cooperation.

Refunds and Cancellations

For workshops at the Centre, all deposits will be refunded IN FULL if a workshop is canceled. If you decide to withdraw from a workshop, please inform us at least 30 days before the first day of class; we will refund your deposits, less a $100 withdrawal fee. Our obligations to the professionals who teach at the Centre dictate that no refund of payments will be made to you if you do not notify us of your withdrawal 30 days before the start of the workshop (120 days for travel workshops). In the event that a replacement is found to fill your vacant space, all payments, less the withdrawal fee will be refunded. No refund of fees will be made for no-shows or for withdrawal after the workshop begins. Membership fees are non-refundable.

ONE DAY SEMINAR FEES ARE NON REFUNDABLE.
