January 18 – Street Photography

In this Take Better Pictures workshop you will be challenged with the task of capturing memorable photographs in a fast pace and ever changing environment.

During this four hour course you will be taught the techniques and tools needed to capture those split second interactions that happen on a busy city street. You will spend quality time in a small class setting discussing and being shown the different techniques covered in this course.  You will then have the opportunity, as a class, to take to the streets of West Palm Beach for a photo walk, where you will apply these new techniques and shooting styles. After putting what you have learned to the test, you will be brought back into the classroom to discuss the photos you took while getting direct critique of your images.

Photographing a fast-paced environment, like a city street, is no easy task! Learn to take advantage of the “moment” in this street photography class. Whether you’re traveling to explore a new culture or you’re growing your portfolio—this class is sure to be fun and informational.

If you are looking for a fun challenge as a seasoned or beginner photographer, this is the class for you. You will learn a new set of skills that you will be able to apply to the knowledge and skills that you already have.

You will need to bring your Digital SLR Camera, Lens (almost any lens will work but f you have a 50mm or telephoto lens bring it in), Memory Card, Charged Battery, and Camera Manual (if you have it).
