Description
Take Control of the Dark- Night Photography with Lewis Kemper
December 1st to December 3rd, 2023
Most people put their cameras down after sunset, but night is an exciting time to take photographs, whether you are in the city or out in the wilderness. Lewis Kemper guides you through all the tips and techniques you need to make successful night images. From cityscapes to stars, Lewis covers the tools needed, along with tips for calculating exposure, sharing techniques such as zooming to create motion, double exposures, time lapse, star trails, how to process star images to enhance the night sky and more.
Night photography requires some special gear – tripod, camera, remote shutter release or intervalometer, bubble level, and/or CamRanger. Lewis will demonstrate these tools and talk about techniques for making night images. If your camera had Interval Timer and Bulb Timer then you do not need an intervalometer.
Don’t ever be afraid of the dark again!
We will photograph on Friday night around West Palm Beach, walking down Clematis towards the inter coastal waterway. On Saturday night we will go to Lake Worth Pier to photograph the full moon rising over the ocean.
