Eagles and Sandhills and Deer, oh my! Join nature photographer Claudine Laabs north of Lake Okeechobee to enjoy some of Florida's finest wildlife viewing. This three day, two night trip begins with a review session at the PBPC, then heads inland to the vast wetlands and prairies around Okeechobee. We will search out Eagle's nests and look for dancing Sandhill Cranes; deer can appear anywhere. We will photograph late day activity after checking into our hotel on Friday. Saturday morning sunrise will be followed by a review (so bring your lap top) and some quiet time. Saturday's sunset will be followed by a pleasant country dinner. We will be up early again on Sunday for the sunrise - mornings are often foggy, so be prepared for something spectacular. We will have a final review when we return to the PBPC.
Bring a long lens and a wide angle, tripod, instruction manual for your camera, a hat and comfortable shoes. (One small carry-on suitcase only, please.)
