Description

This 3-day hands on location lighting workshop is designed for professional photographers, photojournalists and serious amateurs who want to improve their knowledge of lighting. This workshop begins with small strobes and all the wonderful light that can be created using one or more small strobes and progresses to using studio strobes and multiple light sources. We will go into ways of controlling light, reflectors, gels grids, remotes, slaves and the use of items that make up a gaffer kit. Rick will share lots of tricks about lighting. Rick will show his photographs, and explain how lighting was achieved. Each lecture will be followed by a hands on session to practice creating similar light, and by critiques of work produced by each participant. You will leave with a good working knowledge of location lighting.
